  1. Identify the opportunities available to your business. New markets/new customers/new contracts/new bids or tenders
  2. Identify the competencies you need to demonstrate to win these opportunities. Product or service standards/quality/business standards/certifications/productivity/legislation/award schemes
  3. Implement or refine as necessary
  4. Communicate these competencies
  5. Attract, win, grow
  6. Don’t ‘work the phones’!!
